A first home fixture at Forest School for Binfield Ladies against Larkspur Rovers from London brought a disappointing result for the Lady Moles.
The match started evenly enough with both sides figuring each other out and Binfield arguably looking the stronger, but it was short lived as the visitors hit the bar and post in the first half.
The Moles were undone midway through the first half and the visitors second came just before the break when Binfield seemed to stop expecting a free kick against them, only for the attacker to put the ball in the roof of the net from 18 yards.
The second half was similar fair with a lack of chances falling to the home side, Nancy Pottinger having the Moles best chance after great work from player of the match Dionne Hodges but she was unable to get the shot on target.
The Lady Moles have no game this coming Sunday but four training sessions before the visit of Basingstoke Town Ladies Reserves at the end of the month.
