FC Holyport 2 – 1 Binfield – 9th Feb 08 League
  
It was a fine morning in Bray, and the teams were keen for the game.  The early exchanges were even with a good midfield battle.
  
Holyport took the lead when their enormous striker lost his marker and fired in across Matthew.  Before half-time Binfield finally got a clean break with Lordy through to coolly finish for 1-1.  A deserving reward for all his hard work.  Jacob also broke through but his left-foot shot was well saved. The second half saw Holyport go ahead with another good strike and some great determination and effort from Binfield unrewarded.  Michael had a free-kick turned over the bar, but the score stayed 2-1 to Holyport and they take the prize of halting Binfield’s unbeaten run.
  
Man of the Match: Alexander for a great effort man marking and defending well.
