Binfield Crusaders have recently formed, joining the EBYFL league U8 section D for the 2011/2012 season.

Many of the boys are new to competitive football and all are getting used to playing alongside new teammates. The boys made an excellent start to the season winning only their 2nd game and have already shown some great battling qualities.

We are looking forward to a good season, plenty of goals and hopefully a few wins along the way.

Having appropriately been on the road for the last couple of weeks, the Binfield under 8 Crusaders played host to the U08 Darby Green and Potley Dynamos last Saturday.

Facing mostly physically bigger and stronger opponents, the team of Kai, Jude, Freddie, Sam, Samuel, Owain, Harry, Joshua and Arjun gave as good as they got, battling for every ball and getting forward at every opportunity.

Playing without any fear, there were some great battles for the ball as Andy Robinson's team enjoyed their fourth match of the season.

Next up is a trip to Hawley Colts this weekend.
