Binfield’s first team plays in the Uhlsport Hellenic Premier Division in step 5 of the English football non-league pyramid. Winning Division One East in the 2008-9 season, it arrived at the highest position in the history of the club, by achieving step 5.

Last season saw the club finish in its highest ever league position, only narrowly missing out on winning the Premier Division by just three points and being runners-up. 2010 saw Binfield’s second adventure in the historic FA Cup, after a short – one match – stay in 2009. This time around the Moles won two fine matches, coming back to beat Crawley Down in the Extra Preliminary Round by 3 goals to 2 and then following that up with a pulsating 5-1 win over near neighbours Camberley Town. 400 supporters then enjoyed a late summer afternoon visit of Margate Town from the Ryman Premier Division in the 1st Qualifying Round, although the two division difference was enough to see Margate home by 3-0. However, the score remained 0-0 for an hour. Manager Mark Tallentire has assembled a tight knit squad of talented players, who are looking to progress higher up the football pyramid together.
